Eva Webb Hardy/Todd Van Hackett Memorial Scholarship Fund

While Winters Lane loves working with young people and teaching them the joys of theatre, the organization also makes provisions for these artists when they move on to the next level. The Eva Webb Hardy/Todd Van Hackett Scholarship provides financial support to students who wish to further their studies in the arts. Students may use their scholarship monies for private lessons, enrichment classes, or tuition at institutions of their choosing. The scholarship fund is awarded annually to two young artists, one male and one female, who show promise in the performance and/or technical aspects of theatre and plan to pursue academic artistic training elsewhere.

Winters Lane Productions is a community based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to presenting the region's residents and visitors with quality theatrical productions, special events and education programs in order to make the Baltimore Region a more conscious and compassionate community.  We provide youth and adults the opportunity both to attend and to participate in quality presentations through theatre production and management.

Internship Program

WLP offers rigorous, in-depth internship opportunities to both high-school and college-aged students in a number of different disciplines. After passing an involved application and interview process, students specialize in a performance, stage management, theatrical design, or arts administration course of study for a semester. Students work alongside the trained professionals and take with them the real-life experience of working with a regional theatre company.

Our History

Winters Lane Productions (WLP) was founded in 2004 by Anya Randall Nebel after the passing of her beloved grandmother, Eva Webb Hardy, who lived on Winters Lane in Catonsville for decades. Nebel, a veteran performer, joined forces with some of the region’s most sought-after entertainers, designers, and administrators to bring diverse, evocative theatrical works to the Baltimore metropolitan area. Having been mentored by some of the industry’s most respected artists, the members of WLP are also committed to teaching and training the next generation of young artists.
